1. Definitions
- "Service" — any watch repair, restoration, or related assessment carried out by Pendulo
- "User" / "Client" — any person who submits an enquiry, delivers a watch, or commissions a Service
- "We" / "Us" / "Pendulo" — Pendulo, located at 176 Phra Sumen Road, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any written or verbal service confirmation
- "Watch" / "Piece" — the timepiece delivered to Pendulo for assessment or service
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, submitting a contact form, or delivering a watch for assessment or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all clients aged 18 or over. If you are entering this Agreement on behalf of another person or organisation, you represent that you have authority to do so.
3. Service Description
Pendulo provides three published service tiers: Balance & Timing, Case Renewal, and Family Heirloom Restoration. Details of each service are described on our Solutions page. We may also perform assessments, offer guidance, or carry out services not listed if agreed in writing in advance.
Services are available to clients within Thailand and, for postal drop-off, internationally where shipping arrangements have been agreed in advance.
4. Assessment and Scope Agreement
All watches are assessed before any work begins. The findings of the assessment are shared with the client in writing. No service work proceeds without the client's confirmation of the agreed scope. This applies equally to any additional findings discovered during a service — work is paused and the client is contacted before any further steps are taken.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Clients must provide accurate contact details to facilitate communication
- Clients must confirm they are the owner of the watch or have authority to authorise service on the owner's behalf
- Clients must collect their watch within 60 days of notification that it is ready. Watches not collected after this period may incur a storage charge, communicated in advance
- Clients must not submit a watch that is subject to a legal dispute, insurance claim, or is not their property to authorise for service
6. Prohibited Uses
Our website and services may not be used for any unlawful purpose. You must not attempt to submit false information, misrepresent ownership of a watch, or use our services in a manner that would breach Thai law or the rights of a third party.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, imagery, and design — belongs to Pendulo or is used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt our website content without written permission.
8. Pricing and Payment
Service prices are published in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of standard components associated with each tier. Prices for additional component sourcing, if required, are agreed with the client before ordering and are added to the final invoice. Payment is due at collection. We accept payment in cash (THB) or bank transfer; card payment availability may vary.
Prices published on the website are current at the time of viewing but may be revised. The price applicable to your service is confirmed at assessment.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
If a client withdraws from a service after the assessment stage but before service work has commenced, no charge applies beyond any explicitly quoted assessment fee. If service work has commenced, a fair charge reflecting work completed to that point will apply and will be communicated clearly. We do not offer refunds on completed services where the work was carried out as agreed.
10. Disclaimers
We carry out services with care and skill. However, we do not state that any watch will achieve a specific rate of accuracy or that any service will resolve all conditions present in a watch — particularly in cases of significant age, damage, or unavailability of original parts. Reasonable expectations are discussed at assessment.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from a service is limited to the value of the service fee paid. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental losses. Our workshop insurance covers the physical watch while in our custody; details are available on request.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Pendulo against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your misrepresentation of ownership or authority in relation to a watch, or from your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
Either party may withdraw from a service arrangement at any time before work has commenced, without penalty. Once work has commenced, reasonable costs for completed work apply as described in Section 9.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally between the parties may be referred to the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

15. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any service confirmation, constitute the full agreement between us
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms continues in effect
- Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it subsequently
- Assignment: You may not transfer rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services following a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
